With the rapid popularity of new energy vehicles, charging pile facilities in Shanghai's shopping malls, office buildings, hospitals, parks and other public places are becoming more and more perfect, and the "range anxiety" of car owners is significantly reduced.


"At present, 620,000 charging piles for new energy vehicles have been built in Shanghai." Tang Wenkan, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, revealed that Shanghai not only has a large number of charging piles, but also has a ratio of 1.4 to 1, which can reflect the layout of the charging network, taking the lead among major cities in China.


In October this year, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Transport and other five departments issued the "Shanghai Charging (changing) electricity facilities" 14th Five-Year Development Plan (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") on the charging pile development quality put forward higher requirements. The plan specifies that by 2025, charging infrastructure will be fully covered in service areas of expressways and along national and provincial arterial roads at the intercity level. The proportion of DC fast charging devices in special and public charging networks shall be increased to more than 25%; Give full play to the scale and distributed electric vehicle charging and discharging resources on the power system of peak and valley regulation.


New energy vehicle enterprises are generally accelerating the construction of charging infrastructure network. According to Tesla China, the company has built 142 superchargers and 1,230 supercharging stations in Shanghai, which translates to one supercharging station for every 5 square kilometers in the city. Among them, more than 30 charging stations offer parking fee free charging services, and more than 40 charging stations offer peak and valley time-sharing charging services, effectively meeting the needs of many car owners.


Many car owners are still plagued by problems such as inadequate reservation of charging piles in the community, insufficient power capacity, oil vehicles occupying the parking space of charging piles, and zombie charging piles that cannot be used after construction. In this regard, relevant departments are studying and formulating the Measures for the Management of the Construction of Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities in Residential Areas of Shanghai and the Measures for the Management of the Construction of Charging Facilities in Public Parking Lots (garages) of Shanghai, etc., in order to promote the solution of livelihood issues.


Representatives participating in the collection of opinions on the above management measures have put forward suggestions. Yang Wenyue, a member of the Shanghai Political Consultative Conference, believes that on the basis of clarifying the total number or proportion of charging piles in residential areas, strengthening the number of self-built piles while advocating and encouraging the sharing of self-built piles, so as to promote the use of new energy vehicles. Wang Jun, the relevant person in charge of State Grid Shanghai Electric Power Company, said that after the implementation of the management measures, we should strengthen the tracking of the implementation, and form some mature practices and typical experience as soon as possible, especially in the promotion of intelligent and orderly charging. Shanghai has a good foundation and fast development. On the existing basis, we can promote the work of "car pile matching, pile network coordination and vehicle network interaction", which will help speed up the green transformation of transportation.

Bayannur: Expanding charging piles on the "Ji" Bay of the Yellow River


According to the overall planning and related policies of the state and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on new energy charging and replacing infrastructure, energy conservation and emission reduction, Bayannur Trading Group will invest 128 million yuan during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period to start the implementation of new energy charging pile (Phase II) construction project, building 74 fast charging stations and 1700 charging piles. We will speed up the construction of a new energy charging network covering the whole city.


According to the introduction, the construction plan of the project is divided into three stages: demonstration application (2022), mature promotion (2023-2024) and intelligent platform promotion (2025). The charging facilities in the project are divided into five parts according to their functions: Public bus charging infrastructure providing services for public transport vehicles, public charging infrastructure providing services for taxis, e-hailing cars and social vehicles, logistics charging infrastructure providing services for logistics and urban distribution vehicles, park charging infrastructure providing services for employees of parks and enterprises and public institutions, and residential charging infrastructure providing services for household users. After completion of the project, it will boost the development of new energy vehicles in Bayannur City and the western region of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and promote the improvement of regional economic benefits and the realization of the "double carbon" goal.


It is understood that Bayannur City is located in the "Ji" bay of the Yellow River, with convenient transportation. G6 and G7 highways intersect here. Ganqmaodu port is a national first-class land port, an important trade channel to Mongolia in western China, and an important coal import channel in China.
